Myara creates some of earth's best little best dresses.
Myara pieces are designed to spark imagination and stand the test of time. They balance classic style, playful accents, and practical features – making them favorites for grandmothers, children, and their moms.
Myara dresses are designed differently for different age ranges. This is because body shape changes with age and fit is what creates a great dress. Beyond fit, Myara pieces include features rarely seen for children. For example, The Rya flowergirl dress features sheer angel wings on the back as well as a removable train for care-free dancing after the ceremony.
Our garments are handmade by lovers of the craft. This means no shortcuts. For you, this means stronger zippers, longer-lasting garments, and safe materials. The inside of a garment says a lot about its construction; the inside of a Myara looks beautiful to those who know.
Finally, Myara offers undeniable value. These are pieces that are better-made and better-constructed than those from large brands that rely on markups from middlemen. Myara offers value to our customers and creative freedom for our designers.
Central to the Myara vision is community. Our flagship showroom in Lafayette, California is a place where mothers and children play. Our goal is to open people's hearts using the body as a canvas and using Sunny's skill as a designer.
If you're in the San Francisco Bay Area, please visit us and bring your children. We promise to make you feel right at home.
Award-winning fashion designer Sanaz "Sunny" Moraveji designed luxury wedding gowns, women's dresses, streetwear, and men's clothing for top brands like BCBG. With the birth of her first child, Rya, she created Myara, which means "My Angel".
Designing and constructing dresses with the meticulousness learned from studying in Canada's top architecture and fashion design programs, Sunny earned her bachelors degree at Canada's esteemed Ryerson University and integrates old-world sensibilities with edgy, modern innovations.
Myara dresses stand out and have led to a following of Hollywood and Silicon Valley celebrities. This is due in part to Sunny's travels around the world and time living in Turkey, Iran, Canada, Costa Rica, and now California.
"I've been preparing for this since I was a young girl. I give each dress my best because I know each piece will be worn and loved by a child – and they feel everything."
